We believe in giving back to our community. That's why we recently hosted a toy drive and movie screening event at our workshop in San Antonio. We wanted to do our part in spreading holiday cheer by collecting toys for children in need and bringing the community together to enjoy a classic Christmas movie.
We had the pleasure of screening Home Alone 2 on 16mm film, which had a unique Christmas charm. We were thrilled to see a turnout of around 75 people.
The purpose of the event was to support CASA, an organization that provides hope to children who have been victims of abuse or neglect. As a San Antonio-based company, we wanted to do something for the community that has given so much to us. Each person who attended the movie event was asked to bring a toy to donate, and we were blown away by the success of the toy drive.
Prior to acquiring Home Alone 2 on 16mm film, a group of firefighters owned this exact movie and would host toy drives at the fire station. We were honored to continue this tradition and make it our own.
The toy drive was a huge success thanks to the support and generosity of the community. We had over 200 toys donated, and we're grateful for each and every one of them. We plan on making this an annual event to continue our commitment to giving back to the community.
