The Gear

August 28, 2020

Over the years I have used many different shoes to run in. My personal favorites are Nike Zoom Fly’s. I started running in them this past summer and they have really gotten me excited for running throughout the day. Another pair of Nike’s that I have found to have worked well for me on the trails are the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 Trail shoes. They work great not only as trail running shoes but they work well on pavement too, so I don’t have to have two separate pairs.

Anything that has bright neon colors really draws my attention in. All the latest nike running gear has been a go-to for me. Bright colors, perfect fit, and a classic style.

Recently I was asked to become a Lululemon ambassador and I’m really loving my Lulu’s. The material that is used by Lululemon is not only the most durable but it is by far the most comfortable running fit. Running in the afternoons everyday here in San Antonio is grueling most days. With temperatures topping out at 105°, the shirts (not always worn) and shorts are extremely breathable. Everything from the fit being not to loose but not to tight, to the well-tailored contemporary style not only makes me feel better when I run, but I look damn good running.

The Goals:

I tend to do as much as I can a day without pushing myself too far over the limit and past the point of exhaustion or I hurt myself. To quote the man with over 60 endurance races under his belt, David Goggins, “I don’t stop when I’m tired, I stop when I’m done.”
